ADM building is heaven~~~
wow!!! today i went inside the ADM building with one of my friend. my sec school friend, army friend, NTU mate, classmate, tutorial group mate. yup, a guy whom i know for very long le, lOl! we went down the stupid flight of stairs to the entrance of the ADM building. while we were cursing and swearing under the hot sun, never will we expect what awaits us.
we entered the ADM building for the first time. the first room that came into our sight is the computer lab. inside there were alot of iMAC and a few PCs with window XP installed. damn, as a computing engineering student, i must say that we have been in the wrong lab for a sem. the computers were all brand new, unlike those in our computing lab. what a shame. nevertheless, the whole building is not fully operational yet, as most of the rooms are left vacant, and it was pretty obvious judging from the unpainted pillars in some of the rooms.
on the second floor, we could see a few LIVE DRAWING, oops, i meant LIFE DRAWING. there were several pictures drawn with a naked woman as the focus. so that's what life drawing is about. cooool. but too bad, there is a $60 additional charge attached to the course. duh. you have to use a very artistic point of view to view those pictures. but somehow, it seems like there was a serious lack of artistic genes in both of us. nevertheless, i took a picture with those drawings. beside the showcase, there was a somehow big 'ball' that was made of wooden cardboard. from far, it was as if it was a piece of stone-carved art. amazing i must say. my friend helped me to take a picture with me inside the 'ball'. i did not bother about how i looked in the picture, but was more fascinated by the masterpiece instead. there was also a place further down that provided a resting place for travellers like us. aHhhHh~ a corner for relaxation. the sofa was terrifically (note that this word is not in use) comfortable and provided a sense of HOTEL. yup, this is because the sofa at my home is lousy. lOl. just when we are heading for level 3 by the means of a staircase, we saw a bunch of students walking out of a room. one of them was cuteeee~~~ and we took quite a few glances of her before we come to a consesus that exploration was of a higher priority. hm... she's cute. LOL! okok, just kidding.
on the third level, there were pretty much nothing to see, except for the entrance of the auditorium, which can also be accessed on level 2. the auditorium is very small compared to our lecture theatre, but it looked more classy and perhaps artistic? it was obvious that it is still not in use as the air inside was stale and highly poisonous. it was choking at least.
to move up an additional level, we had to take a lift. no staircase or whatsoever. staff was dominant on that level and there was nothing interesting except for 2 blue birds and an exit to the green pasture on top of the building itself. it was amazing that there were 2 birds on top of the high building and the fact that they were both blue. amazing. marvellous. excellent. superb. bravo. blue birds. what more can we expect? i took a picture of it and also a video of them. after a small commotion in regards to the blue birds, we head for the exit to the green pastures. it was a scorching afternoon and so we decided that going back into the aircon building was a better part of valor. drawing upon our might, we managed to reach the inside of ADM without receiving too much damage from the fire elementals.
that somehow concluded our expedition and we headed for the exit, returning back to hall happy men. oh yar, a gentle reminder to girls taking the course dynamics of teamwork. this friday no lesson, next friday first lesson, girls please wear SKIRTS!!! ok, i am kidding. if you have read the announcement, girls, please do wear JEANS to class as we will be playing some games. omfgwtfbbq. i am not letting my mind go wild, jeans, games, non-examinable, damn, i got the right elective.
